- We keep full snapshots of your data for six months or more (if corruption was introduced on the client's end, we can back track until we find a clean copy)
- No tape (only a network connection)
- Encrypted in transport (so no prying eyes)
- Secure WebDAV (https) access. It is built into Microsoft WindowsTM. All you have to do is log in, map a drive, and navigate your data.
- Altamente continually inspects your backups to make sure they continue to work. Say you switch out a machine, or have some sort of network implosion. We'll give you a call and let you know your server has not checked in recently. Is everything okay?

Outsource your webserver maintenance to Altamente. For $600 a month we provide you with your own 64 bit Dual Core Altabox 1-U rack-mounted server connected to a multi-megabit connection (you decide). We will provide initial configuration of the server, installing all the programs you need (see below for the listing of programs we make available to our clients). Altamente will also manage your hosted server, reviewing its performance and individual needs. Clients with hosted servers also enjoy the benefits of our Service Rich Hosting for effective portal administration.
