Ms. Acevedo has over ten years of experience developing business and Internet strategies for large and small businesses. In Seattle, Ms. Acevedo launched and directed the e-Commerce Department for Sierra Online, a Vivendi company (Vivendi is a French “Global 100” company).

As Business Analyst for the Woman's Business Institute (WBI) in Puerto Rico, Ms. Acevedo launched the communications department and instituted a bi-monthly forum that dramatically increased the Institute's clientbase. Her efforts garnered the Institute the equivalent of a qurter of a million dollars in free publicity per year, a considerable increase from the less than $10,000 it had achieved before establishing the new strategies.

Ms. Acevedo has a B.A. on International Communications from DePauw University in Indiana and is currently finishing a Masters degree in Public Relations at Sacred Heart University in Puerto Rico.
